Cantos y Romances
A program that draws on the background of EnsAmble Ad-Hoc in Early Music and traditional repertoires from Latin America. Romances from 16th and 17th century Spain are combined with pieces of the same genre found nowadays in Colombia, Venezuela and other Latin American countries. The stories told through romances will be spiced up with traditional songs that have been slowly added to the duet’s repertoire since they started their musical journey back in their native Colombia.
