Early music for the family

Jeringonzas: this program is comprised mostly of pieces that the founders of the ensemble learned during their childhood in Colombia and for which they have found references in European sources that date back to the 16th century and beyond. Program presented at Conference for Children’s Music: Noveno Encuentro de la Canción Infantil Latinoamericana y Caribeña. Mexico, D.F., Mexico. October 2009.
Language: Spanish.

Oh! How lovely: pieces from Shakespeare’s time appropriate for young audiences complement the  original program of Hispanic songs from early sources.
Languages: English and Spanish.
Part of this program to be presented by the 21st Century Choir of Burnham School. Director: Francy Acosta. Friday, March 26th, 2010.
